My name is Katie Vita! I'm a 17-year-old high school senior from Salinas, CA. I've been taking portraits of my friends and peers for a couple of years now. I love sharing them on my Instagram page! My photo series "Primary" features my sister, Rachel. I took these photos in my bedroom when I got silk backdrops. The red is so vibrant and I love the combination with her primary-colored outfit. My goal was to create a cartoon-like character and style out of the photos.
