Natural Light
natural light
the amber graze
along your cheek
face softly lit
a tender balance
between blinding and dark
golden tessellations
become fixated
hinged upon skin
rays that swallow
i stick
as it does to you
alter ego
mouth slightly ajar
as you let this sensation
dance on your tongue
eyes roll back
savoring the flavor
something about how
four o’clock
open blinds
and vulnerability
grant you a gold platter
of natural light
no syllables for
how alive you feel
