Harry Wall // Fake Glasses Single Launch
" Marking the debut of both his first single and first show backed by a band, Harry Wall emerged on the Black Bear stage with a nostalgic, indie rock sound and energetic pop bounce.
Brisbane has previously glimpsed Harry playing drums in ensembles Mums Tennis Friends (@mumstennisfriends_ ) and Sammm. (@sad_sammm). Now front and (left-of-) center, he proved a relatable and likeable lead. Harry sings about teen love; electric first loves and impatient endings. His debut single has a biting-teeth cynicism apt for his character. Harry is honest and unshowy, with a candid songwriting style.
Charming and contagious, he kept the crowd dancing and hearts full. Which is no mean feat considering the support acts Musk Avenue (@muskavenue) and Filthy Minds (@filthymindsau) were an eclectic blend of decadent pop-punk and coastal jive.
Playing Fake Glasses not once, but twice to the crowd's request, Harry dedicated his debut single to fake people. "
