Ariel

Through using the formal elements of light, colour, and composition: I attempted here to create an illusion of being underwater: hence the title: Ariel. Photographers that inspired this colour palette and concept are Cvatik (@cvatik - Instagram) and A.J Hamilton (@thetogfather - Instagram) with their cool and icy colours and fantasy female lead being the main subject of the stories behind each photograph. The element of fantasy is seen to be integrated here through the subject's pose, staring wonderingly up into the beam of light above and, consequently, the playful rays highlighting the subject's face.
